MapX Conducts Field Validation on Lot Parcels with CGB Validators

With the commitment to provide continuous support to the City Government of Butuan, the Manage Your Assets, Properties and Map It for Visualization (MapX) has conducted field validation activity last June 23, 2022 at Libertad, Butuan City,  that aims to assess the accuracy of the first point of the lot parcels for plotting. It also helps the assessor’s office in updating their records and validating their existing data. 

The team headed by Engr. Cherry Bryan G. Ramirez, plotted the coordinates into the handheld GPS and identified the first point of the parcel with its corresponding coordinates. It was then compared with the coordinates reflected in the assessors’ section map. The validation results showed that there is a 4.5m difference in the actual first point versus the previously identified first point of the lot parcel.
